Kevin comes downstairs, glancing around the room for Darien - for all the good it might do him - and settles at a table near the infirmary door.

Oh yeah, he knows the letter's missing. And he knows where it went.

OOM, yesterday: Darien catches Kevin in the middle of a personal ritual, and they have a long, serious, and long-overdue conversation. Some things are fixed, some things... aren't, yet. But it's the beginning of the right road.

So, a CSI chemist walks into a bar.

And he sees a sign about a brothel.

And he goes :O.

And approves.

And sits down with some coffee, because he already paid up his tab.

Kevin emerges from the infirmary and heads for the Bar.

With some regret, he doesn't order coffee, settling for a Corona instead.

Kevin is in the bar.

He has no coffee, because he's observing Lent. As he is a caffeine addict, this is proving to have a marked effect on his concentration. He's trying to read over Darien's test results.

Darien walks out of the bar.

Darien walks into the bar.

Looking mildly bummed out.

Svava, down in the bar, glaring at some paper scribbled with very few notes. That is about as many ideas as she has had to this whole issue with the curse, and it has been hitting rather close to home lately.

Considering how nice things had been lately, she really should not be surprised.
